Our training sessions are designed to challenge the athletes fitness and skill level while enhancing their basketball IQ. We train the complete athlete by emphasizing our 4 pillars of athleticism:

Explosiveness – Power and Acceleration

Quickness – Reaction and Movement time

Agility – Move and change direction under control

Balance – Core and single leg strength

How does our training enhance an athletes IQ?

We challenge athletes mentally by creating game like scenarios and drills that will increase their ability to recognize and react properly to game situations as they occur throughout a game.

1. INCREASE MENTAL AWARENESS

Often times athletes are not “aware of the moment” which prevents them from reacting properly throughout the game. By training athletes at game speed while delivering constant feedback  we are able to familiarize them with situational basketball. By doing so, we are able to help them develop a level of awareness that will slow the game down.

2. INCREASE MENTAL FOCUS

Secondly, and equally important, by improving their overall fitness and level of athleticism through game speed training they are able to maintain mental focus during periods where other athletes lose focus due to fatigue. By eliminating the negative effects that can be expected with fatigue; their ability to “think the game” becomes second nature.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Athletes should expect to be challenged mentally and physically. Although this is a group environment, our coaches ensure that everyone is being challenged at the appropriate level. In other words, we are here to DEVELOP players whether they are new to the game or highly skilled and experienced.
